For those who want to get away from the bustling city there are several national parks near Las Vegas that are spectacular. Red Rock Canyon, Valley of the Fire State Park and Zion National Park are all close enough for a day trip. The Lost City Museum and Ruins has artifacts of the Anasazi people who lived in the area hundreds of years ago. There are ruins of their ancient civilization that are part of the museum.
Las Vegas is a one-of-a-kind city and a place everyone should visit at least once. It is a suitable holiday destination for people of all ages with various interests.
