Vegas Best Hotels
The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is one of the remaining gems of the strip that has stood the test of time and prospered. Much has changed at TI since its early days and depending on how much you are attached to pirate kitsch, most would agree that these changes have been for the better. Treasure Island features some very large rooms for the price offered and they are decorated with style and class in geometric and neutral patterns. One of the greatest selling points of these rooms are the bathrooms. Each is equipped with a deep and luxurious soaking tub that provides some much needed relief after a day of exploring the strip or a long night of casino hopping and shows.
In front of the hotel there is an ongoing battle between Pirates and Sirens that is entertaining and risque in a fashion that Vegas has become famous for. Those who are lucky enough to grab a strip-side room can see the melee from their window. Rumor has it that those above the seventh floor will be able to gaze down the dresses of the Sirens engaged in battle with the handsome pirates. There is no shortage of restaurants at the resort, and it boasts six of its own including The Buffet at TI and Isla. Fans of the famous Canter's Deli in Los Angeles will be glad to know there is a branch located inside the hotel as well. As far as nightlife and shows go, Treasure Island is home to what may be the greatest show in town, Mystere, put on by the Cirque du Soleil. In addition, there is a tram that runs nearly twenty four hours between the TI and The Mirage. This is a convenient way to travel between the two sister casinos.
The pool at Treasure Island was not one of the more memorable ones on the strip but was great for families with children. Those looking for a more intimate swimming experience would do well to visit a different site that offers adult only swimming hours. Recent renovations have been bringing many more people to the pool area and it is now considered one of the finest on the strip. There is also a full service spa on site that offers massage as well as whirlpools and saunas. These facilities come with a reasonable fee and everything needed, from televisions with headsets to high end products such as Sebastian in the dressing rooms can be used by guests. The hotel offers guests 2,665 rooms and 220 suites. All rooms have a safe and deliver Wi-Fi internet to guests. The pool area also offers the rental of private cabanas that include an LCD TV inside and a personal attendant to answer to your every whim. The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino brings guests all that Vegas has to offer with the charm and style that only a classic Vegas hotel can muster.
